My husband and I booked a special custom tour with Sergio last summer, a few places of interest around Lucca and Forte de Marmi. My husband wanted to retrace his father's footsteps and visit the towns his father had been to and fought in during World War II. This tour turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Italy; we had such an amazing adventure. Words can't express the importance Sergio has played as our tour guide, we wouldn't have been able to do this trip without him. Some of the places Sergio took us to were remote, so wouldn't have felt comfortable driving there. We were able to relax and enjoy without worrying about driving in a foreign country. Sergio is knowledgeable, professional and has a great sense of humor, but he went over and beyond our expectations. Sergio did some research on the subject matter and took the initiative to contact & set up a meeting with a journalist who is knowledgeable about this subject matter as well. His excellent bilingual skills, in both Italian and English, was instrumental in connecting us to the people of the towns we visited. Sergio was great in giving us the space to walk around, explore and take pictures.
We're hoping to go back to Italy this summer and would like to do a food & wine tour with Sergio. We talked a lot about food & wine, he is very knowledgeable & passionate about this.

Sergio you made the vacation perfect for us! We are so glad we chose you as our week long guide, driver and friend. We would never have discovered all the special places that you brought us to see; the vineyards, the olive oil shop, the wonderful restaurants and all the interesting information concerning Pisa, Luca, Sienna, San Gimignano, etc. We had so much fun! Thanks too for the morning cappuccino and sweet rolls! Traveling together in your new van was a joy. If we rented cars we would have spent half of our time getting lost! Thanks for teaching us a little Italian, lots of local history and culture, and present day politics. It was such fun!

Just to tell you our holiday in Italy was fantastic, and the time in Tuscany with you was the the best part of it all. We had other good drivers while in Italy, but you're the top for knowledge, professionalism and pure fun. We're so thankful you suggested getting away from the crowds and take your off the beaten tracks tour. The scenery was great, your little home town is full of charm, and above all the warmth of the people was so genuine. We got to know what it means to live in Tuscany, rather than see it through tourist's eyes. The kids loved the cheese experience, and for us city people sitting outside on the farm eating cheese and drinking wine was a real treat.

Once again, thanks for a great day and a great tour. Chianti is beautiful and the way you explain it adds to the experience. We enjoyed the wine tastings and appreciated your choice of wineries; wonderful people and wonderful wine. Our favorite was the Super Tuscan we tasted at Beppe's.
It arrived the day after we returned, and we'll be opening our first bottle on Sunday. Your knowledge of the countryside added to our enjoyment, and thanks to you we learned much about Tuscany and also have some great photos. If ever we come back to Italy, we'll surely look you up.

What a fun day we had with you!
We had our doubts about Pisa but I suppose it was worth it to get our holding up the tower photo. Combining the vist to Lucca is a good idea, it's nice to see a less touristy town and Lucca has so much charm. We talked with another couple in the hotel who took someone else's tour to Pisa. It did not sound nearly as great as ours!!! They saw the same sites as us, but they didn't have the same laughs. We've gave them your card.
